Chemistry between Luka and LeBron

Now, that's what the Los Angeles Lakers had in mind when they pulled off their shocking trade for Luka Doncic earlier this month.

After going 1-2 and averaging 14.7 points in his first three games with LA following his departure from Dallas, the 25-year-old superstar had by far his best game in a Lakers uniform Saturday night in Denver.

Doncic scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out seven assists and stole four passes while leading the Lakers to a 123-100 wipeout of the Nuggets, who had won nine consecutive games.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr not signing in Toronto

He’s not Ohtani.

He’s not Soto.

He’s not that good.

Toronto Blue Jays failed to reach a contract extension with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. before his Monday deadline.

You can never say never, but it appears each side made its last, best offer. Guerrero will enter free agency at the end of the season, and he'll likely be the top player available at the age of 26.

Seven more massage therapists have accused Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of sexually inappropriate conduct, the Baltimore Banner reported Sunday.

Team Canada captain Sidney Crosby will play in Wednesday's 4 Nations Face-Off opener against Sweden, he told reporters Monday, including TSN's Chris Johnston.

Crosby's status was in question after he missed the Pittsburgh Penguins' last two games before the break with an upper-body injury. The decision to play in the tournament was left up to him.

Canada had until 2 p.m. ET on Monday to name a replacement or not. Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele was reportedly on standby.

The Philadelphia Eagles rode a dominant defensive performance, which featured six Patrick Mahomes sacks and a second-quarter pick-6, to a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday in New Orleans.

Kansas City entered the matchup trying to become the first team to win three consecutive titles, but it fell short in its fifth Super Bowl appearance of the Mahomes era.

Major League Baseball fired umpire Pat Hoberg for sharing betting accounts with a friend who wagered on games, the league announced Monday.

Chiefs get Ref calls?

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell disagrees with the idea that league officials have favored the Kansas City Chiefs amid the team's quest for a three-peat with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

"This reminds me of the script that I write for the entire season," Goodell ironically said Monday during a press conference in New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl LIX, according to David Bearman of Pro Football Network. "A lot of those theories happen in social media and get a new life. No (one) wants it to be their theory, but it reflects the fans' passions."
