Future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady is expected to be approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders during Tuesday's NFL owners meeting, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The league's finance committee has reportedly reviewed Brady's bid and plans to bring it to the other owners to vote on ahead of the meeting. The finance committee unanimously approved Brady as a minority owner, Schefter reports.
Brady's bid needs approval from 24 of the league's 32 owners. The seven-time Super Bowl champion will become the third player in league history to become an owner, following George Halas and Jerry Richardson.
