New York Yankees star outfielder Juan Soto is dealing with forearm inflammation, the club announced Friday.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said he expects Soto to avoid the injured list and that he could be available as early as Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.
Soto was forced to leave Thursday's win over the Minnesota Twins with forearm discomfort and underwent an MRI, which revealed the inflammation.
