Langford OUT with hamstring injury

Texas Rangers rookie Wyatt Langford is being placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained right hamstring, manager Bruce Bochy announced Sunday, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.

Langford's injury is more severe than a Grade 1 strain, Bochy added. The team expects him to miss around three-to-four weeks.

Langford suffered the injury while running out a ground ball in the fifth inning of Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals. He underwent an MRI on Sunday that confirmed the ailment.
