The Cleveland Guardians placed outfielder Steven Kwan on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring injury, the club announced Monday.
Kwan has an acute left hamstring strain and is expected to miss four weeks, according to Zack Meisel of The Athletic.
First baseman Kyle Manzardo, ranked as the Guardians' No. 2 prospect and No. 52 overall by MLB.com, will take Kwan's spot on the team's 26-man roster. Manzardo is in the lineup, batting seventh for his major-league debut against the Detroit Tigers on Monday.
