Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl was absent from Thursday's practice and is considered day-to-day, head coach Kris Knoblauch announced, per The Athletic's Daniel Nugent-Bowman.
Puck drops on Game 2 of the Oilers' second-round matchup against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
Draisaitl missed the final eight minutes of the second period in Edmonton's series-opening loss on Wednesday night, but he was able to return for the last frame.
