Talk about a first impression.
Barely 24 hours after being traded to the San Diego Padres, reigning NL batting champion Luis Arraez entered his new team's record books with a dominant day at the plate against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Arraez, who led off as the DH, became the first Padres player to record a four-hit game in his debut with the team.
Arraez led off the contest with a double, then rapped out singles in each of his next three plate appearances to make it a 4-for-4 start to his Padres career.
