Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb is believed to have suffered a season-ending knee injury that includes multiple torn ligaments in Monday night's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Chubb was carted off the field following a violent collision with Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrickearly in the second quarter. He was in visible pain and the ESPN broadcast declined to show a replay of the hit due to the gruesome nature.
The star tailback is expected to have tests to confirm the severity of the injury Tuesday, Rapoport adds.
