Kyrie Irving's relationship with Nike appears to be over for good.
Nike co-founder Phil Knight addressed the company's decision to suspend ties with the Brooklyn Nets guard during an interview with CNBC's Becky Quick on Thursday.
"Kyrie stepped over the line. It's kind of that simple," Knight said. "He made some statements that we just can't abide by and that's why we ended the relationship. And I was fine with that."
