The New York Yankees placed outfielder Andrew Benintendi on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with right wrist inflammation.
New York recalled outfielder Estevan Florial from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding roster move. The team also selected right-hander Ryan Weber from Scranton, while left-hander Anthony Banda was designated for assignment.
Benintendi exited Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays with a wrist injury. Manager Aaron Boone said postgame that Benintendi felt a "pop" in his wrist and was experiencing numbness in his fingers, according to Hoch.
