The New York Rangers traded defenseman Nils Lundkvist to the Dallas Stars for a conditional first-round pick in 2023 and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2025.
If the Stars' 2023 first-round pick is in the top 10, the Rangers will receive their 2024 first-rounder. Furthermore, if Lunkdvist accumulates 55 points over the next two seasons, the fourth-round pick becomes a third-rounder.
Lundkvist, the 28th overall pick in 2018, requested a trade out of New York last week.
