The Las Vegas Raiders are signing tight end Darren Waller to a three-year contract extension worth $51 million in new money, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Raiders and Waller have been discussing a contract extension throughout the offseason, and talks were progressing, ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio reported on Thursday.
The new deal locks up the 29-year-old through the 2025 season, making him one of the highest-paid tight ends in the league.
