Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons is expected to land on injured reserve due to a thigh injury, which will sideline him for at least four games, a source told James Palmer of NFL Network.
Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett confirmed Wednesday that the star defensive back, who's started all of the team's games over the last four seasons, is set to miss "some time," Palmer added.
Simmons sustained the ailment in the second half of the Broncos' 17-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night but finished the game.
