The New York Yankees are losing one of their big trade-deadline acquisitions right as another returns.
New York placed right-hander Frankie Montas on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation Tuesday. Montas' IL stint is retroactive to Sept. 17. The team reinstated outfielder Harrison Bader from the 60-day IL in a corresponding roster move.
