San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell is expected to miss about two months after suffering a sprained MCL in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Mitchell rushed for 41 yards on six carries before being ruled out of the remainder of the 19-10 loss to Chicago. He was spotted wearing a brace over his right leg postgame, according to NBC Sports' Jennifer Lee Chan.
