Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco had $650,000 worth of jewelry stolen out of his Rolls-Royce Cullinan in Jacksonville, Florida, while he was on a minor-league rehab assignment in late June, according to police and court records obtained by Paula Lavigne and Jeff Passan of ESPN.
The valuables were in a safe that was taken from the parked car in a hotel parking lot in the early morning of June 22, according to documents.
