The bad news keeps piling up for the slumping Boston Red Sox, as the team placed All-Star third baseman Rafael Devers on the 10-day injured list with right hamstring inflammation.
Devers suffered the injury during Friday's 28-5 drubbing at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Red Sox are 5-13 in July and have fallen three games behind the pack in the AL wild-card standings.
