The Washington Capitals inked forward Dylan Strome to a one-year deal worth $3.5 million, the team announced Thursday.
Strome, 25, became an unrestricted free agent when the Chicago Blackhawks opted not to tender him a qualifying offer, which would have been worth $3.6 million.
