Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith will miss the remainder of the postseason after undergoing core muscle surgery Friday, head coach Mike Sullivan announced. DeSmith was tabbed as the Penguins' starter entering the playoffs with Tristan Jarry sidelined due to a foot injury.
