Washington Capitals superstar Alexander Ovechkin didn't suit up for Tuesday's game against the New York Islanders due to an upper-body injury. Ovechkin was hurt in Sunday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after he was tripped by goaltender Erik Kallgren and crashed into the boards. He was officially labeled day-to-day.
