Kershaw pulled after 7 perfect innings

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw was removed after seven perfect innings against the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday. Alex Vesia replaced the future Hall of Famer on the mound to start the eighth inning. He promptly coughed up the Twins' first hit of the game - a single - to catcher Gary Sanchez, spoiling the combined perfect-game bid.
